The G-shield is washable and pretty rugged. This is a must have for all griddle tops.
The G-shield Griddle pan cover is a standard edge double reflective insulation that is an excellent fiber-free alternative to other types of griddle insulation. G-Shield is a 5/16 inch thick, seven layer, reflective insulation consisting of two outer layers of aluminum foil that reflect air & humidity, each layer of foil is bonded to a tough layer of polyethylene for strength. Two inner layers of insulating bubbles resist conductive air flow while a center layer of polyethylene gives G-shield high reliability and durability.
So to recap how to measure the inside of your grill.
When measuring the width, measure the inside the griddle from left to right. Write down the width in inches.
When measuring the depth, measure the inside of your griddle from front to back, be careful to not over measure this, just make sure you are measuring straight down from back to front. Remember to measure the inside dimension.
When measuring the lip, just measure from inside the griddle to the top of the griddle lip. Just let us know if you have a tapered front.
